Job Description

A Receptionist cum Tele caller serves as the face and voice of a company, blending front-office administration with outbound and inbound customer communication. They are the first point of contact for visitors and are responsible for lead generation, customer follow-ups, and appointment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reception & Front Desk Management


  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors with a pleasant and professional demeanor.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls to the appropriate departments or take accurate messages.
  • Manage and maintain the reception area, keeping it clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail, couriers, and packages.
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes.

2. Tele calling & Communication


  • Make outbound calls to prospective clients, leads, or existing customers (e.g., following up on inquiries, promoting services, or scheduling meetings).
  • Explain company products, services, or procedures clearly and confidently to callers.
  • Handle customer queries and resolve complaints or escalate them to senior staff.
  • Manage business WhatsApp, emails, and online inquiries.

3. Administration & Scheduling


  • Fix appointments, consultations, or meetings and maintain the company calendar.
  • Update and maintain accurate customer databases, lead sheets, or CRM software.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on tele calling performance and lead conversions.
  • Assist with basic clerical tasks like photocopying, scanning, and filing.


Requirements & Skills

  • Education: Minimum 10+2, but a Bachelor’s degree in any stream is highly preferred.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years in front desk management, customer service, or telecalling/sales.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local languages (e.g., Kannada, Hindi, or Malayalam for the Bengaluru region).
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel) and email handling.
  • Soft Skills: Pleasant personality, patience, and a positive, customer-friendly attitude
