Pharmacy Assistant

Key Responsibilities**  

- Customer Service & Sales: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide guidance on over-the-counter (OTC) products within scope.  

- Pharmacy Operations: Assist with prescription processing under pharmacist supervision, verify patient information, and prepare medications for dispensing.  

- Inventory Management: Receive deliveries, stock shelves, check expiry dates, conduct regular inventory counts, and participate in cycle counts.  

- Cash Handling & POS: Process transactions, handle returns, and maintain accurate cash Drawer/POS records.  

- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and company policies; maintain patient confidentiality; support medication safety initiatives.  

- OTC & Health Advisory: Provide basic guidance on OTC products, refer complex questions to the Pharmacist.  

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, signage, and labeling; assist with inventory logs and audit readiness.
