MITRA Home Healthcare is looking for a part-time Nursing Instructor / Clinical Trainer to train our caregivers in practical home-care skills.
The trainer will conduct one 4-hour in-person training session every week or as required for small batches of caregivers/nurses
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct structured caregiver training using MITRA’s prepared curriculum and training materials.
- Demonstrate practical skills such as patient positioning, transfers, mobility assistance, bed-bath, hygiene, diaper care, feeding, vitals and basic patient monitoring.
- Train caregivers in elderly care, dementia care, fall prevention, infection prevention and recognition of emergencies.
- Teach caregivers how to document patient care correctly.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, return demonstrations and competency assessments.
- Correct unsafe techniques and ensure caregivers can perform procedures confidently before deployment.
- Conduct short assessments/feedback after training.
- Maintain professional training standards and patient-safety principles.
Requirements:
GNM/BSc Nursing required. BSc/MSc Nursing or candidates with previous experience as a nursing tutor, clinical instructor or nursing trainer will be preferred. Strong bedside nursing knowledge and the ability to explain clinical concepts in simple language are essential.
Must know- English, Kannada, Hindi
Schedule: 1 session/week, approximately 4 hours.
Pay: ₹1600-2000 per session, depending on experience.
Location: Bengaluru.
