Job Title

Team Lead cum Staff Nurse


About the Role

At Sukoon, mental healthcare is delivered through a patient-first, evidence-based, and compassionate approach across OPD, IPD, and rehabilitation settings. As a Team Lead cum Staff Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care while leading and mentoring nursing teams to ensure clinical excellence, patient safety, and consistent service delivery across all care settings.


Roles and Responsibilities

·       Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical protocols.

·       Supervise, mentor, and guide nursing staff to maintain service excellence.

·       Coordinate daily nursing activities, duty rosters, and shift management.

·       Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and ensure timely interventions.

·       Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.

·       Support the Clinical Head and Nurse Educator in training and upskilling nursing staff.

·       Act as a point of escalation for patient or caregiver concerns related to nursing care.

·       Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and care documentation.

·       Collaborate with doctors, psychologists, and allied teams for holistic patient care.

·       Suggest process improvements and contribute to quality audits and accreditations.


Key Requirements & Competencies

·       B.Sc. Nursing or GNM qualification

·       Valid Nursing Council registration

·       4–7 years of clinical nursing experience

·       Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role

·       Experience in psychiatric, mental health, rehabilitation, or critical care nursing preferred

·       Strong clinical, leadership, and decision-making skills

·       Effective communication and interpersonal skills

·       Empathy, emotional resilience, and a patient-first mindset

·       Ability to manage teams, shifts, and escalations in a clinical environment
