Kitchen Helper

Food Preparation

• Wash, chop, and prep vegetables, proteins, and ingredients as per recipe cards

• Marinate and pre-portion meats accurately (weight-based, not by eye)

• Prepare Korean sauces, pastes, and base ingredients under supervision

• Set up mise en place before each service shift

Cooking & Service

• Cook dishes strictly following standardised recipe cards

• Manage timing across multiple orders during peak service hours

• Maintain consistent portion sizes and plating standards

• Operate cooking equipment safely — wok, induction, pressure cooker

Packing & Dispatch

• Pack orders accurately per delivery platform requirements

• Label containers correctly (dish name, quantity, date)

• Coordinate packing with order flow to meet delivery timelines

• Conduct basic quality checks before dispatch — no spillage, correct order

Kitchen Maintenance

• Clean and sanitise work surfaces, equipment, and utensils after each shift

• Follow FIFO (First In First Out) for ingredient storage

• Report low stock levels before they run out

• Maintain kitchen hygiene as per FSSAI food safety standards

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 1 year experience in any commercial kitchen, canteen, or QSR

• Ability to follow written recipe cards precisely — no freestyling

• Strong knife skills and basic cooking technique

• Physically fit — role involves standing for extended periods

• Punctual and reliable — shift timings are non-negotiable

• Willingness to learn Korean cuisine preparation from scratch

• Basic understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness

• Calm under pressure during peak delivery hours

JOINING TERMS

• Probation Duration: 2 months from joining date - assessed on punctuality, hygiene, and recipe adherence

• Notice period: 30 days from either side

• Working days: 6 days/week — shift from 12 noon - 12 AM

• Early exit without notice: Salary deduction equivalent to notice period
