Kitchen Helper

We are looking for a Kitchen Helper / Commis 3 to support the day-to-day operations of our bakery and kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize vegetables and herbs.
• Peel, chop and prepare ingredients.
• Measure and portion ingredients as per recipes.
• Assist with basic cooking and baking preparation.
• Prepare simple food items under supervision.
• Assist in salad and meal preparation.
• Pack salads, cakes and bakery products neatly and accurately.
• Label products and maintain FIFO storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
• Wash utensils and clean kitchen equipment.
• Organize refrigerators, dry storage and ingredients.
• Assist with receiving, checking and storing inventory.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures.
• Work efficiently as part of the kitchen team.

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but freshers willing to learn may apply.
• Basic knife skills or willingness to learn.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness habits.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Good attention to detail.
• Punctual, reliable and hardworking.
• Comfortable standing and working in a kitchen for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English, with good reading and writing skills.
• Willingness to learn different aspects of food preparation and bakery production.

Work Location: Yelahanka, Bengaluru

Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
