Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and customer focused Sales Associate to join our silver jewellery showroom in Bangalore. You will be the face of our brand guiding customers through our collections, building relationships, and helping them find pieces they love. You will be expected to consistently meet sales targets while delivering an elegant, personalised in-store experience.


Key responsibilities

  • Welcome customers warmly and understand their requirements through active listening
  • Guide customers across the silver jewellery range rings, necklaces, bangles, earrings, and customised pieces
  • Explain product details including purity (925 sterling) craftsmanship, and care instructions
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and upsell complementary products
  • Handle billing, invoicing, and basic cashiering accurately using POS systems
  • Maintain attractive, well-organised jewellery displays and replenish stock as needed
  • Manage customer exchanges, returns, and after-sales service professionally
  • Build and maintain a personal customer database for follow-ups, festivals, and new arrivals
  • Assist in periodic stock audits and inventory management
  • Keep the showroom clean, safe, and presentable at all times


Must-have skills

  • Strong communication in Kannada, tamil, and basic English
  • 1+ year in retail jewellery or luxury goods sales
  • Knowledge of silver purity, hallmarking, and care
  • Customer service and conflict resolution
  • Basic math and POS/billing software handling
  • Honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented


Good to have

  • Experience with gemstone-studded silver pieces
  • Familiarity with oxidised and antique silver jewellery
  • Knowledge of festival/bridal jewellery trends
  • Prior experience at a branded jewellery showroom
  • Ability to handle Tamil or Telugu speaking customers

QualificationsMinimum:

  • Diploma or certification in gemology or retail management is an advantage
