Job Description

Inspect customer-returned musical instruments and audio equipment for functional, cosmetic, and technical issues.

Test products to verify customer complaints and identify defects.

Diagnose whether issues are due to manufacturing defects, transit damage, customer misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Perform basic repairs, servicing, adjustments, and maintenance wherever possible.

Carry out basic guitar setup, tuning, string replacement, action/intonation adjustment, and hardware checks.

Perform basic electronic troubleshooting, soldering, cable/connector repairs, and component replacement when required.

Check product accessories, packaging, serial numbers, and overall completeness.

Classify returned products as Fit for Resale, Repair Required, NFF, Damaged, Warranty Claim, or Non-Repairable.

Maintain accurate inspection, repair, and return records.

Coordinate with Warehouse, Customer Support, Service, and Quality teams regarding return status and technical findings.

Conduct final QC after repairs before products are released for resale or further processing.
