Job Description
- Manage end-to-end field collection operations for the Payday Loan portfolio.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of Field Collection Executives to achieve collection targets.
- Allocate cases, track performance, and ensure productivity of the collection team.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and field audits.
- Handle overdue accounts and ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments.
- Develop and implement effective collection and recovery strategies to reduce delinquency.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer queries and payment-related issues.
- Monitor collection performance and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical collection practices.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships while driving recoveries.
- Visit customer locations whenever required to handle critical or high-value collection cases and support the team in achieving recovery targets.
- Conduct field visits and market assessments to identify challenges and improve collection efficiency.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in Field Collections, preferably in Payday Loans, Fintech, NBFC, Personal Loans, or Microfinance.
- Minimum 1–2 years of team handling experience.
- Strong knowledge of collection processes, recovery strategies, and delinquency management.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage field teams and achieve recovery targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and collection management systems.
- Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel extensively within Bangalore.
