Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Take charge of the Electrical Engineering operation during the assigned shift.

Supervise and guide Electrical Technicians and maintenance staff.

Monitor LT panels, DBs, MCCs, ACBs, MCBs, contactors and electrical control panels.

Monitor DG sets, UPS, batteries and other power backup systems.

Attend and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and guest complaints promptly.

Ensure uninterrupted power supply to guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, kitchen, laundry and back-of-house areas.

Monitor electrical consumption, equipment readings and utility parameters.

Carry out and supervise Preventive Maintenance (PPM) as per schedule.

Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, kitchen, laundry and other engineering teams when required.

Ensure proper operation of motors, pumps and associated electrical systems.

Maintain shift logbooks, breakdown reports, meter readings and work completion records.

Conduct regular inspection of electrical rooms, plant rooms and service areas.

Ensure all electrical work is carried out safely and as per hotel standards.

Immediately report major breakdowns, safety hazards and equipment abnormalities to the Chief Engineer / Engineering Manager.

Coordinate with external vendors and contractors during maintenance and breakdown activities.

Ensure proper handover and takeover between shifts.

Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards in engineering areas.

Support emergency situations, power failures and other hotel operational requirements.
