Job Description
Role Overview
- Job Title: Data Entry Operator / Jewellery Back-Office Executive
- Industry Focus: Jewellery Manufacturing, Wholesale, Retail, or E-Commerce
- Primary Objective: Ensure 100% precision in recording weights, purity levels, SKU codes, pricing, and stock movements of gold, silver, diamonds, and gemstones
Key Responsibilities
- Product & Catalog Management: Enter and update item descriptions, SKU numbers, dimensions, pricing, and digital images into inventory systems or e-commerce platforms. [1, 2, 3]
- Material & Stock Tracking: Maintain detailed records of gold weight, silver, diamond counts, gemstone specifications, and findings. [1, 2]
- Production & Job Order Logging: Record CAD design details, job cards, work-in-progress (WIP) items, and manufacturing status updates. [1]
- Reconciliation & Verification: Compare physical stock against system entries, track gold issue/receipt quantities, and resolve inventory discrepancies with production or store teams. [1, 2]
- Barcoding & Tagging: Generate, print, and apply product barcodes, price tags, and certification labels to finished jewellery pieces. [1, 2, 3]
- Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS tracking reports using Excel or ERP software. [1]
