Costing & Estimation Executive

Key Responsibilities

●      Drawing Analysis: Read and interpret 2D architectural layouts, floor plans, and 3D furniture renders to understand exact project requirements (workstations, cabins, acoustic pods, storage units).

●      BOM Creation (Factory Side): Break down furniture designs into precise manufacturing elements. Calculate the exact square footage of PLPB/MDF boards, running meters of edge banding, laminate sheets, and hardware counts (hinges, channels, minifix) required for production.

●      BOQ & Quotation Preparation (Client Side): Prepare accurate, professional commercial proposals (BOQs) for the sales team to present to corporate clients, architects, and dealers.

●      Costing & Margin Protection: Calculate total landed costs including raw materials, factory labor, machine overheads, packaging, and transport. Apply appropriate profit margins to ensure the factory remains profitable on every order.

●      Vendor & Price Tracking: Keep the internal pricing database up to date. Track fluctuating prices of raw materials (plywood, steel, fabric) and hardware components to ensure our quotes reflect current market realities.

●      Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with the Design Team to clarify technical details, the Sales Team to deliver quotes within 48 hours, and the Production Head to hand over the final approved BOM for manufacturing.
