Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Head Chef to manage the kitchen operations of our café. The candidate should be able to prepare a variety of café food and beverages while maintaining consistent taste, quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations independently.
• Prepare and supervise preparation of:
• Tea & Coffee
• Fresh Juices & Milkshakes
• Sandwiches
• Momos
• Pasta
• Burgers
• Other café-style snacks and dishes
• Maintain consistent taste, portion size, and presentation.
• Manage kitchen inventory and ensure timely availability of ingredients.
• Minimize food wastage and control food costs.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff.
• Ensure orders are prepared quickly and accurately during busy hours.
• Maintain proper food storage and follow food safety standards.
• Assist in introducing new dishes and improving the café menu.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Head Chef, Café Chef, or Senior Cook.
• Good knowledge of café-style food and beverages.
• Ability to manage a kitchen team.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Responsible, punctual, and reliable.
• Good communication and leadership skills .
