Job Description

Prepare Indian breakfast dishes including Idli, Dosa, Vada, Uttapam, Pongal, Upma, Aloo Bhaji and Puri, Vegetable Poha Poori Bhaji, Kesari Bath, Chutneys, and Sambar.

Ensure proper preparation, fermentation, storage, and handling of dosa and idli batters.

Guest House - 20 rooms

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner - Ala Carte (on request by guest)

Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentation.

Prepare mise-en-place and ensure all breakfast counters are service-ready.

Monitor food temperatures and maintain food safety standards during production and service.

Follow hotel SOPs, FSSAI guidelines, and hygiene standards.

Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.

Minimize food wastage and support cost-control initiatives.

Assist in inventory checks and communicate stock requirements to the Chef.

Support buffet setup and replenishment during breakfast service.

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
