Job Description

A Studio Manager at 9Round India is responsible for the overall performance of the fitness studio, ensuring operational excellence, membership growth, exceptional member experience, and team management. The role combines sales, operations, customer service, and leadership to achieve business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue GenerationAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual membership sales targets.

  • Conduct fitness consultations and convert walk-in inquiries into memberships.
  • Generate leads through referrals, corporate tie-ups, local marketing, and digital campaigns.
  • Upsell personal training packages, merchandise, and renewal plans.
  • Track daily sales KPIs and prepare performance reports.

2. Member Experience & RetentionDeliver an exceptional member experience from enquiry to onboarding.

  • Build strong relationships with members to improve retention.
  • Handle member feedback, complaints, and escalations professionally.
  • Ensure high member satisfaction and engagement through regular follow-ups.
  • Organize fitness challenges, community events, and member engagement activities.

3. Studio OperationsManage the day-to-day operations of the studio.

  • Ensure the studio is clean, safe, and maintained according to brand standards.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate repairs or maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory of merchandise, cleaning supplies, and operational materials.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and hygiene standards.

4. Team ManagementRecruit, train, coach, and motivate trainers and front desk staff.

  • Prepare employee schedules and manage attendance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching.
  • Foster a positive, energetic, and customer-focused work culture.
  • Ensure all staff deliver the signature 9Round workout experience.5. Marketing & Business DevelopmentPlan and execute local marketing campaigns.
  • Build partnerships with nearby businesses, apartments, schools, and corporates.
  • Coordinate promotional events, fitness workshops, and outdoor activations.
  • Manage social media engagement and support brand promotions.
  • Increase brand visibility within the local community.

6. Financial ManagementMonitor studio revenue, expenses, and profitability.

  • Maintain daily cash collections and payment records.
  • Prepare operational and financial reports for management.
  • Control operational costs while maintaining service quality.

7. AdministrationMaintain membership records and CRM data.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Ensure timely documentation and compliance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and support teams for smooth operations.
