Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Develop and expand business opportunities with PSUs, EPC contractors, consultants, and industrial customers.
- Identify new tender opportunities through:
- GEM Portal
- CPPP
- PSU procurement platforms
- EPC networks
- Generate enquiries and convert them into profitable business orders.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and coordinate bid submissions.
- Achieve annual sales and collection targets.
PSU & Government Client Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key officials in:
- PSUs
- Government departments
- EPC contractors
- Inspection agencies
- Coordinate approvals, technical clarifications, and vendor registration activities.
- Manage customer communication during project execution and post-order support.
- Handle contract discussions and commercial negotiations.
Project Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate between:
- Customers
- Design team
- Production
- Procurement
- Site execution teams
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
- Resolve execution bottlenecks and customer concerns.
- Ensure adherence to quality and contractual requirements.
Operations & Commercial Management
- Track project costing, profitability, and billing.
- Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate collections.
- Support procurement planning for aluminium sections, hardware, and fabrication consumables.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and documentation requirements.
Tendering & Documentation
- Prepare and review:
- Tender documents
- Technical datasheets
- Compliance statements
- BOQs
- Commercial offers
- Coordinate EMD, BG, and contractual documentation.
- Maintain records of ongoing tenders and order status.
Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate the sales and coordination team.
- Conduct regular review meetings.
- Establish customer-focused business practices.
- Support management in strategic planning and market expansion.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- BE / BTech in Mechanical / Production / Civil / Industrial Engineering
- MBA preferred but not mandatory
Experience
- 5 to 12 years of experience in:
- Aluminium fabrication
- Industrial fabrication
- Building systems
- EPC/project sales
- PSU business development
Preferred Industry Exposure
Experience with:
- Aluminium fabrication
- Industrial products
- Structural fabrication
- Architectural systems
- PSU project execution
