Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify high-value business targets through cold outreach, networking, and market research.
  • Pipeline Management: Track and nurture leads through every stage of the sales funnel, from the initial pitch to final closure.
  • Needs Assessment & Pitching: Consult with corporate clients to understand their pain points, and deliver tailored presentations showcasing product/service solutions.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Address client objections, negotiate commercial terms and pricing, and finalize contracts.
  • Account Management: Nurture post-sale relationships with decision-makers to drive up-selling, cross-selling, and client retention. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Experience: 1 to 5+ years of proven B2B sales experience (e.g., SaaS, fintech, or corporate services).
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in CRM software (such as Salesforce or HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and sales acceleration tools.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communicationnegotiationactive listening, and objection-handlingcapabilities. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Quota Attainment: Meeting or exceeding periodic revenue/sales targets.
  • Lead Conversion Rates: The percentage of prospects moved from lead to closed-won.
  • Pipeline Value: Total estimated revenue of active deals.
  • Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC): The cost associated with acquiring a new business client. [1, 2, 3, 4]
