Job Description

  • Assistant Store Manager oversees daily operations of a retail grocery store and ensures smooth functioning.
  • Supervises staff, assigns tasks, and trains team members to maintain performance standards.
  • Ensures excellent customer service and resolves complaints professionally.
  • Monitors store cleanliness, product displays, and shelf stocking.
  • Manages inventory, conducts stock checks, and reduces wastage using FIFO methods.
  • Supports sales targets and tracks daily store performance.
  • Supervises billing, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation.
  • Ensures compliance with safety, hygiene, and company policies while reporting to the Store Manager.
