Job Description

Job Summary:

The Assistant Sales Manager supports the sales team in driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets for printing and advertising services. The role involves assisting in sales strategy execution, team coordination, client acquisition, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Target Achievement

  • Assist the Sales Manager in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Support the planning and execution of sales strategies for printing and advertising services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable printing and advertising solutions.
  • Handle client queries, follow-ups, and negotiations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Business Development

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
  • Develop partnerships with corporate clients, agencies, and local businesses.
  • Support promotional activities, campaigns, and networking events.

Team Coordination

  • Assist in guiding and coordinating the sales team.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare reports.
  • Provide training and support to sales executives when required.

Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain sales records and CRM data.
  • Coordinate with design, production, and operations teams for timely project delivery.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales (printing, advertising, media, or related industry preferred).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of printing services, branding, and advertising solutions.
  • Customer-focused approach with problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
