Assistant General Manager

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Assistant General Manager to oversee sales performance, showroom operations, customer experience, and team productivity at AVR Swarna Mahal Jewellery. The role requires strong jewellery retail expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth while ensuring operational excellence across showrooms.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
• Monitor showroom-wise sales performance, revenue, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Oversee daily showroom operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
• Lead, motivate, and guide Store Managers, Floor Managers, Sales Managers, and sales teams.
• Monitor sales conversion, average transaction value, customer retention, and repeat business.
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalated customer complaints professionally.
• Monitor gold, diamond, silver, and fashion jewellery inventory coordination with Purchase and Inventory teams.
• Ensure proper stock control, stock audits, security procedures, and prevention of inventory loss.
• Analyse sales reports, market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, festive sales activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate with HR for manpower planning, recruitment, training, performance management, and employee development.
• Ensure showroom visual merchandising, product display standards, and overall store presentation.
• Review operational costs and implement measures to improve productivity and profitability.
• Prepare and present periodic sales and operations reports to senior management.
• Support new showroom launches, business expansion, and process improvement initiatives.
