Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Aluminium Formwork Engineer with 5–7 years of experience to manage and supervise aluminium formwork activities at construction sites. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Mivan / aluminium shuttering systems, site execution, quality control, manpower management and coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and execute aluminium formwork / Mivan shuttering activities as per approved drawings and project schedules. 

• Study and interpret structural and architectural drawings before execution. 

• Ensure proper erection, alignment, leveling and dismantling of aluminium formwork. 

• Check dimensions, levels, verticality and alignment of formwork before concrete pouring. 

• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Structural Consultants, Contractors and Project Managers. 

• Ensure proper installation of walls, slabs, beams, columns, staircases and other structural elements using aluminium formwork. 

• Monitor concrete pouring activities and ensure formwork stability and safety. 

• Identify site-level issues and provide timely technical solutions. 

• Supervise and manage shuttering teams, subcontractors and site manpower. 

• Ensure proper handling, cleaning, storage and maintenance of aluminium formwork panels. 

• Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed as per project schedule. 

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards. 

• Conduct regular quality inspections and rectify defects or deviations. 

• Coordinate with reinforcement and MEP teams to ensure proper service openings and embedded items before concreting. 

• Maintain daily progress reports and update the Project Manager on work status. 

• Ensure adherence to site safety procedures and construction standards. 

• Support quantity estimation and material planning for formwork activities. 

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Aluminium Formwork / Mivan Formwork. 

• Good knowledge of shuttering systems, construction methodology and concrete works. 

• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings. 

• Strong knowledge of alignment, leveling, dimensions and formwork inspection. 

• Good manpower and subcontractor management skills. 

• Strong problem-solving and site execution abilities. 

• Good knowledge of construction safety and quality standards. 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel is preferred. 

• Good communication and coordination skills. 

Qualification

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering. 

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in construction. 

• Candidates with strong experience in Mivan / Aluminium Formwork for high-rise residential or commercial projects will be preferred.
