Job Description – CA Office Staff

Position: Accounts / Tax Assistant

Organization: B. Mallaiah & Co., Chartered Accountants

1. Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain books of accounts in Tally/other accounting software

Pass journal entries and reconcile bank statements

Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)

2.Taxation Work

Assist in filing Income Tax Returns (ITR)

Handle GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual returns)

Work on TDS returns and compliance

3.Audit & Compliance

Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits

Prepare audit working papers and reports

Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other laws

4.Client Handling

Communicate with clients for documents and clarifications

Maintain proper documentation and records

Follow up for pending data and fees

5.Skills Required

-Basic knowledge of Accounting and Taxation

-Familiarity with Tally, Excel, and GST portal

-Good communication skills (English & local language)

6.Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / Semi Qualified Chartered Accountants

Candidates with Min 1 year experience
