Order Taker / Sr Order Taker

We are looking for a diligent Order Taker to fulfil the responsibilities below at our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly, assist them with seating arrangements, and provide menus in a professional manner.
• Present menu items clearly and guide customers with suitable food and beverage recommendations based on their preferences. 
• Accurately take customer orders and enter them into the POS system promptly.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure the timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.  
• Ensure excellent customer service by attending to guest requirements and maintaining a positive dining experience.  
• Promote upselling by suggesting add-ons, combo meals, beverages, and special menu items.  
• Monitor guest satisfaction during service and respond promptly to requests or concerns.  
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of service counters, dining areas, and order-taking stations.  
• Support smooth restaurant operations by coordinating with service staff and kitchen teams.  
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including preparation of counters and service areas.  
• Ensure proper handling of billing, order accuracy, and customer queries during service.  

Requirements: 

• Must be able to speak and read English very well.
• Basics of Restaurant/Hotel Service Knowledge.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years.
• A friendly, polite, and courteous nature and neatly groomed.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina to work long hours on your feet.
• The flexibility to work shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
