Music Teacher – Mela Music SchoolResponsibilities

• Teach one-on-one and group music classes.
• Teach practical music, music theory, and staff notation.
• Help students develop technique, rhythm, and sight-reading skills.
• Assign practice exercises and monitor student progress.
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and music exams.
• Maintain attendance and provide regular progress updates.
• Create a fun, disciplined, and engaging learning environment.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of music theory and staff notation.
• Strong teaching and communication skills.
• Passion for working with children and adults.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
• Trinity, ABRSM, or Rockschool certification is an advantage.
