Job Description
- Leading and motivating sales staff to meet or exceed sales goals
- Overseeing the recruitment, training and performance evaluations of store staff
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract customers
- Managing inventory, including ordering new items, handling unsold stock, and ensuring the store is adequately stocked
- Handling customer complaints and inquiries to maintain high customer satisfaction
- Creating attractive visual merchandise displays to attract customers
- Product Knowledge
- Monitoring store expenses and budgeting to ensure profitability
- Coordinating with furniture suppliers and maintain positive business relationships
- Ensuring the store is clean, safe and presentable at all times
- Keeping up to date with the latest furniture trends and competitors’ strategies
