Job Description
- Manage daily operations of the store and warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
- Issue materials to departments/employees as per approved requests.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment when required.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO procedures where applicable.
- Maintain records of damaged, expired, excess, or obsolete stock.
- Coordinate with purchase, accounts, production, and other departments.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of the store area.
- Control unauthorized access to inventory and maintain proper documentation.
- Support internal and external stock audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory procedures.
