1. Job Summary

We are seeking a technically skilled and motivated Security System Installer to install, configure, test, commission, and maintain electronic security systems at customer locations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality installation, timely project execution, and customer satisfaction.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission CCTV surveillance systems, including IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and PTZ cameras.
• Install access control systems, bio-metric devices, RFID readers, and attendance systems.
• Install and configure video door phones, intrusion alarm systems, and perimeter security solutions.
• Assist with boom barriers, tripod turnstiles, and other entry and exit automation systems.
• Perform cable laying, conduit installation, cable termination, crimping, and testing.
• Configure IP addresses, network switches, PoE devices, and basic LAN connectivity.
• Assist with fiber optic cabling and network integration wherever required.
• Conduct site inspections and verify installation readiness before execution.
• Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, cabling, power supply, and system configuration issues.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and demonstrations for customers.
• Coordinate with project engineers, technical support teams, and site representatives.
• Maintain installation reports, service reports, material consumption records, and commissioning documents.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain tools and equipment, and ensure professional conduct at customer sites.
• Complete assigned tasks within the committed project schedule and quality standards.

3. Qualifications and Skills

• ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or a related technical field preferred.
• Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may apply; experience in electronic security installation is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, access control, biometric systems, and electronic security devices.
• Knowledge of CAT 5e/CAT 6 cabling, RJ45 termination, and cable testing.
• Basic understanding of IP networking, LAN, PoE switches, and device configuration.
• Ability to use installation tools, testing instruments, and basic electrical tools.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work at heights when required, using appropriate safety equipment.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

4. Experience

• Freshers to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in security system installation and commissioning will have an advantage.
