Job Description
A real estate sales executive is the driving force behind property transactions. Their primary role is to connect buyers with their ideal residential or commercial properties, guiding them through the entire journey from the initial inquiry to closing the deal.
Because real estate is a high-ticket, emotion-driven purchase, this role requires a blend of sharp negotiation skills, deep market knowledge, and exceptional relationship building.
Core Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Actively identifying potential buyers through cold calling, networking, digital leads, and property exhibitions.
Property Showings: Conducting site visits and walking clients through residential or commercial projects, highlighting key selling points, amenities, and ROI potentials.
Client Relationship Management (CRM): Maintaining a robust database of clients, following up diligently, and understanding their specific property requirements and budgets.
Negotiation & Closing: Handling objections, negotiating price points and payment plans, and finalising sales agreements.
Market Intelligence: Staying updated on local market trends, competitor pricing, new project launches, and shifting government regulations/zoning laws.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Sales executives are typically evaluated on clear, metric-driven targets:
Conversion Rate: The percentage of site visits or inquiries that turn into closed deals.
Sales Value/Volume: Meeting monthly or quarterly gross sales targets (e.g., total square footage or total revenue booked).
Lead Response Time: How quickly new inquiries are contacted and qualified
