Safety Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures

• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments

• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and standards

• Investigate accidents and recommend preventive measures

• Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees

• Maintain safety records and reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Safety Management or related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
