Job Description
- Shift Preparation: Arrives early to inspect station cleanliness, verify table setups, stock side stations, and check the Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Team Leadership: Conducts daily pre-shift briefings to assign server stations, communicate the night’s specials, and review VIP reservations.
- Guest Seating & Welcoming: Collaborates with the host desk to optimize seating arrangements, welcome arriving guests, and escort them to their tables.
- Order Management: Answers specific questions about menu ingredients, takes complex food and beverage orders, and executes strategic upselling.
- Service Supervision: Monitors service flow, tracks the pacing of the kitchen, and confirms that dish quality and presentation meet restaurant standards before serving.
- Issue Resolution: Acts as the primary troubleshooter to promptly resolve guest complaints regarding food, delays, or service errors.
- Billing & Closing: Reviews order dockets, handles financial transactions, processes accurate guest bills, and writes end-of-shift sales and operational
