Restaurant Assistant Manager

Role Objective

• To ensure smooth day-to-day restaurant operations across FOH, kitchen operations, customer experience, staff discipline, food quality, SOP compliance, and online + offline operations.
• This role acts as the operational bridge between the kitchen, service team, cashier, store, and management.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage complete shift operations across FOH & kitchen
• Coordinate dine-in, takeaway, Swiggy & Zomato operations
• Ensure food quality, hygiene & consistency
• Handle staff supervision, discipline & training
• Monitor customer experience & complaint handling
• Support upselling, combo sales & billing accuracy
• Ensure SOP adherence & operational readiness

Kitchen Operations

• Ensure food production starts as per schedule
• Verify breakfast, meals, snacks & dinner prep readiness
• Monitor kitchen coordination during rush hours
• Ensure kitchen hygiene & SOP compliance
• Support wastage control & inventory coordination

Team Supervision & Discipline

• Conduct pre-shift briefings
• Monitor attendance & punctuality
• Ensure grooming & hygiene standards
• Support staff training & onboarding

Customer Experience

• Ensure proper customer greeting & hospitality
• Handle escalations professionally
• Maintain premium service standards

Preferred Experience·     

• 3–6 years in restaurant / café / QSR operations
• Experience handling kitchen coordination
• Ability to manage live restaurant operations
