Job Description – ATL & BTL Promoter (Field Marketing & Sales Executive)


Position: ATL & BTL Promoter

Department: Marketing & Sales

Reporting To: Marketing Manager / Sales Manager

Location: Karnataka (Field-Based)


Job Purpose


The ATL & BTL Promoter is responsible for executing on-ground branding, product sampling, awareness campaigns, and direct sales activities to increase brand visibility and product trials. The promoter will represent SNN Foods at temples, schools, colleges, parks, residential communities, exhibitions, retail outlets, and other public locations to educate consumers about the company’s products and convert trials into sales.


Key Responsibilities


1. Brand Promotion & Awareness


* Represent SNN Foods professionally during all ATL and BTL activities.

* Explain company background, product benefits, and unique selling propositions (USPs) to consumers.

* Create awareness about SNN Foods products among potential customers.

* Distribute brochures, leaflets, and promotional materials.


2. Product Sampling & Demonstration


* Conduct free sampling campaigns at approved locations.

* Encourage consumers to taste products and provide feedback.

* Demonstrate product usage and explain preparation methods where applicable.

* Ensure proper hygiene and presentation during sampling activities.


3. Direct Sales & Conversion


* Sell designated products during promotional activities.

* Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

* Convert product trials into immediate purchases.

* Collect customer details for future follow-up activities.


4. Outdoor Marketing Activities


* Participate in promotional events near:

  * Temples

  * Schools and Colleges

  * Parks

  * Residential Apartments

  * Exhibitions and Melas

  * Retail Stores and Supermarkets

  * Corporate Offices

* Assist in setting up stalls, branding materials, and promotional displays.


5. Branding Execution


* Ensure proper placement of banners, standees, posters, and promotional materials.

* Maintain visibility and cleanliness of branding assets.

* Report branding opportunities in the assigned territory.


6. Market Intelligence


* Gather customer feedback and suggestions.

* Monitor competitor activities and promotions.

* Share market insights with the Marketing Manager.


7. Reporting & Documentation


* Submit daily activity reports.

* Report samples distributed, customer interactions, and sales achieved.

* Maintain stock records of samples and promotional materials.

* Submit photographs of activities conducted.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


* Number of sampling activities conducted.

* Number of consumers reached.

* Product samples distributed.

* Sales generated from promotions.

* New customer contacts collected.

* Number of branding activities executed.

* Customer feedback collected.


Required Skills


* Good communication skills in Kannada, English, and local languages.

* Confident in interacting with the public.

* Sales-oriented mindset.

* Energetic and willing to travel extensively.

* Ability to conduct product demonstrations and sampling activities.

* Basic reporting and record-keeping skills.


Qualification


* PUC / Any Degree.

* Experience in FMCG promotions, field marketing, retail sales, or brand activation preferred.

* Freshers with good communication skills may also apply.


Working Conditions


* Field-based role with extensive travel.

* Weekend and festival promotional activities may be required.

* Must be willing to work in outdoor environments.


Expected Outcome


The promoter should increase brand awareness, generate product trials, create new customers, and contribute directly to sales growth through effective ATL and BTL activities for SNN Foods products.
