Nurse – Job Description

About the Role

Classia Health is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Nurse to support our metabolic health, longevity, preventive healthcare, and wellness programs. The Nurse will play a key role in monitoring members, assisting doctors, conducting basic health assessments, maintaining medical records, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all members.


Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Monitoring

  • Record and monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, SpO₂, and blood glucose.
  • Assist in health assessments and routine clinical examinations.
  • Monitor members during wellness and metabolic reset programs.
  • Identify abnormal findings and immediately escalate to the attending doctor.
  • Provide first aid and emergency support when required.

Clinical Procedures

  • Collect blood, urine, and other samples for laboratory investigations.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by doctors.
  • Assist doctors during consultations and procedures.
  • Maintain infection control and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines and medical supplies.

Diagnostic & Preventive Health Support

  • Perform ECG recordings and basic patient preparation.
  • Assist in body composition analysis, anthropometric measurements, and health screenings.
  • Support preventive health checkups and wellness assessments.
  • Educate members on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and follow-up care.

Documentation & Records

  • Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
  • Update electronic medical records (EMR) and health monitoring systems.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient information.
  • Prepare daily nursing and clinical reports.

Member Experience

  • Provide compassionate and professional care to members.
  • Address member concerns and coordinate with doctors and care teams.
  • Support health education sessions and wellness programs.
  • Ensure a comfortable and positive experience for all members.

Inventory & Compliance

  • Maintain nursing station inventory and medical consumables.
  • Monitor expiry dates of medicines and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.


Qualification

  • B.Sc Nursing / GNM Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Valid Nursing Registration Certificate.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
  • ACLS certification will be an added advantage.


Experience

  • 1–5 years of nursing experience in hospitals, clinics, wellness centers, or healthcare facilities.
  • Freshers with strong clinical knowledge may also apply.


Required Skills

  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and clinical procedures.
  • Basic computer and EMR documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
  • Team-oriented and patient-centric approach.
