ICU Nurse

JOB DESCRIPTION – ICU NURSE

Key Responsibilities

Provide proper nursing care to critically ill patients.

Monitor vital signs, patient condition, and changes in health status.

Administer medicines and injections as prescribed by the doctor.

Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.

Assist doctors during procedures and emergencies.

Monitor and operate ICU equipment as required.

Maintain proper infection control and hygiene standards.

Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, and safety procedures.

Maintain proper handover and communication with the next shift.

Ensure proper care and maintenance of medical equipment.

Attend to patients and their relatives professionally and courteously.

Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow CPR/emergency protocols.

Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Required Skills:

GNM/B.Sc. Nursing qualification.

Valid nursing registration.

ICU experience preferred.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.

Willingness to work in shifts.
