HTML Email Designer Cum SEO Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled HTML Email Designer & SEO Executive who can independently handle emailer design and development along with day-to-day SEO activities.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of responsive HTML email design, website optimisation, on-page SEO and basic technical SEO, along with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

HTML Emailer Design & Development

• Design professional and visually appealing HTML emailers.

• Convert email designs into clean, responsive HTML/CSS.

• Ensure emailers are compatible across major email clients and devices.

• Optimise emailers for desktop and mobile viewing.

• Test email layouts, links, images and responsiveness before deployment.

• Work with creative and marketing teams to develop campaign emailers.

• Troubleshoot HTML email rendering and formatting issues.

• Maintain reusable email templates where required.

SEO

• Perform on-page and technical SEO activities.

• Conduct keyword research and keyword mapping.

• Optimise meta titles, descriptions and heading structures.

• Improve website content and internal linking.

• Identify and fix broken links, 404 errors and basic technical SEO issues.

• Monitor website indexing and crawlability.

• Optimise images, ALT tags and website content.

• Assist with off-page SEO and backlink-building activities.

• Analyse competitors and identify SEO opportunities.

• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic and Search Console performance.

• Prepare basic SEO reports and performance updates.

• Support blog and SEO content optimisation.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HTML email design/development and SEO.

• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.

• Experience creating responsive HTML emailers.

• Understanding of email-client compatibility and email rendering.

• Good understanding of On-Page SEO and Technical SEO.

• Knowledge of keyword research and SEO tools.

• Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

• Understanding of internal linking, metadata, image optimisation and basic website technical issues.

• Good visual sense and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of Figma, Photoshop or Canva.

• Basic understanding of JavaScript.

• Experience with WordPress.

• Knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or similar.
