Job SummaryWe are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Hospital Pharmacist to manage the dispensing of medications, ensure patient safety, maintain pharmacy inventory, and support healthcare professionals with medication-related information.

• Key ResponsibilitiesReview and dispense prescriptions accurately as per doctor's orders.
• Verify medication dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding medication usage, dosage, and side effects.
• Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and manage inventory, including ordering and storage of medicines.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding medication requirements.
• Ensure proper handling of controlled drugs and emergency medications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and quality assurance activities.
• Stay updated with pharmaceutical developments and hospital protocols.
• Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
• Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration.
• 1–5 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy (preferred).
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and medication management.
• Familiarity with Hospital Management Systems (HMS) and pharmacy software.
• Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of medicines and pharmacology.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and patient counseling skills.
• Inventory and stock management.
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
