Fabrication Sheet Metal Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
• Create 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Generate BOMs (Bill of Materials) and production documentation.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for design implementation.
• Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Support modifications and improvements to existing products.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and part drawings.
• Understanding of manufacturing tolerances and material specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• PreferredExperience in Commercial Kitchen Equipment Manufacturing, Food Processing Equipment, Stainless Steel Fabrication, or related industries.
• Knowledge of SS304/SS316 sheet metal products will be an added advantage.
