Job Description
- Safely drive vehicles to and from designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods, materials, or passengers.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning (tires, brakes, lights, etc.).
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.
- Ensure all traffic rules and regulations are strictly followed; any violation reported will lead to disciplinary action.
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays promptly to management.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any operational matters.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as needed, ensuring all items are securely stored and transported.
- Support in scheduling and coordinating regular vehicle maintenance and servicing.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers, passengers, and colleagues.
- Handle emergency situations such as breakdowns, delays, or first aid requirements appropriately.
