HOMECARE GIVER

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Homecare Companion to provide non-medical support and companionship to patients during both hospital stays and home-based care. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the patient's comfort, safety, dignity, and overall well-being while offering emotional support and assistance with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Assist patients with mobility and accompany them within the hospital or home environment.
• Support patients with routine daily activities, including meal assistance and general comfort needs.
• Observe the patient's condition and promptly communicate any concerns to family members or the care team.
• Accompany patients to medical appointments, diagnostic tests, and hospital procedures when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the patient.
• Encourage social interaction and engage patients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Ensure patient dignity, privacy, and respect are maintained at all times.
• Provide overnight or extended-hour support as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to caregiving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, attentive, and professional in a healthcare setting.
• Physical ability to assist patients with walking and mobility support.
• Previous experience in caregiving, patient support, or companionship services is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
