Senior Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of shelling line equipment.
• Maintain cutters, conveyors, vibrators, and shell separators.
• Ensure timely response and resolution of machine breakdowns.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and lubrication.
• Support maintenance of cookers, dryers, graders, packing lines, motors, pumps, and VFDs.
• Maintain maintenance records, PM checklists, and spare parts usage.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE, LOTO, and 5S standards.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications & Experience

•    ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on trade experience.

•    2-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a food processing, agro-processing, or similar manufacturing plant; cashew or nut-processing experience preferred.

•    Working knowledge of mechanical drives, conveyors, pneumatics, basic electrical/VFD systems, and lubrication practices.

•    Familiarity with preventive maintenance checklists, job-card/CMMS discipline, and breakdown documentation.

•    Willingness to work in rotational shifts and respond to breakdowns promptly.
