Job Description – HR Executive (Plant HR)

Position: HR Executive – Plant HR

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Joining: Immediate Joiner Preferred


About the Role: We are looking for dynamic and result-oriented HR Executives with strong experience in manufacturing/industrial environments. The incumbent will be responsible for managing statutory compliances, payroll, time office operations, recruitment, and workforce management, particularly for unskilled and semi-skilled manpower.

Key Responsibilities

1. Statutory Compliance Management

Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations.

Handle compliance related to EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus Act, Minimum Wages Act. Coordinate with government authorities during inspections and audits. Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation.

2. Payroll & Compensation Management

Process monthly payroll accurately and within timelines.

Verify attendance, overtime, leave records, and wage calculations.

Generate salary sheets, wage registers, and MIS reports.

Ensure statutory deductions and timely remittances.

3. Time Office Management

Monitor attendance through biometric systems.

Maintain shift schedules and manpower deployment records.

Track absenteeism, overtime, and leave management.

Generate daily and monthly attendance reports.

4. Recruitment & Workforce Management

Conduct recruitment of unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled manpower.

Coordinate with contractors, manpower suppliers, and local recruitment sources.

Manage onboarding, joining formalities, and employee documentation.

Maintain employee records and personnel files.

5. Employee Relations

Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues.

Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.

Maintain healthy industrial relations within the plant.

6. HR Administration & MIS

Prepare HR dashboards and manpower reports.

Maintain HRIS and employee database.

Support management with workforce analytics and compliance reporting.

Required Qualifications: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.

2–5 years of experience in Plant HR/Factory HR.


Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliances.

Experience in payroll processing and time office management.

Proficiency in MS Excel and HR software.
