Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install rooftop solar PV systems: mounting structures, panels, inverters, ACDB/DCDB and earthing
- Lay out and connect DC and AC cabling, including MC4 connectors, conduits and cable routing
- Do earthing and lightning arrester installation as per standards
- Test the system and commission it with the site supervisor
- Service, clean and troubleshoot systems that are already installed
- Follow all safety rules when working at height and with electrical connections
- Keep the site clean and tidy and treat customers politely
- Report daily work progress to the supervisor
Requirements
- Basic electrical knowledge (wiring, multimeter use, AC/DC basics)
- Comfortable working on rooftops and at heights
- Ready to travel to sites within and around the city
- Physically fit, punctual and disciplined
- Experience in solar installation
- Having your own two-wheeler and driving licence is a plus
