Business Development Executive (MBA Marketing)

Position Summary


We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented MBA Marketing professional to join our Business Development team. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, meeting prospective customers, developing business relationships, promoting solar solutions, and converting opportunities into successful projects.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development & Sales


- Generate new business opportunities through field visits, references, networking, exhibitions, and digital inquiries.

- Meet residential, commercial, and industrial customers to understand their energy requirements.

- Present and explain BG Solar's products, services, subsidy benefits, and savings calculations.

- Schedule and coordinate site surveys with the technical team.

- Prepare and follow up on proposals and quotations.

- Convert qualified leads into confirmed solar projects.

- Achieve monthly sales and business development targets.


Market Development


- Develop relationships with builders, architects, electrical contractors, consultants, housing societies, and industrial associations.

- Identify new market opportunities and business segments.

- Conduct competitor analysis and provide market feedback to management.

- Participate in exhibitions, awareness campaigns, and promotional events.


Customer Relationship Management


- Maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing customers.

- Ensure timely follow-up and customer support throughout the sales process.

- Collect and verify customer documents required for subsidy and net-metering processes.

- Generate referrals from satisfied customers.


Reporting & Documentation


- Submit Daily Activity Reports (DAR).

- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, meetings, and sales activities.

- Update CRM/Google Sheets regularly.

- Participate in weekly sales review meetings.


Qualification


- MBA in Marketing (Mandatory)

- Freshers with excellent communication skills may apply.

- Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Solar, Real Estate, Banking, Insurance, or related sectors will be preferred.


Required Skills


- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

- Relationship-building and networking skills.

- Customer-centric approach.

- Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset.

- Basic understanding of solar energy and renewable energy concepts (training will be provided).

- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM software.


Other Requirements


- Must own a two-wheeler.

- Valid driving license.

- Willingness to travel within Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and nearby areas.

- Fluency in Marathi and Hindi. Basic English communication preferred.

- Daily customer meetings and field visits.

- New leads generated per month.

- Site surveys scheduled.

- Quotations submitted and followed up.

- Sales conversion ratio.

- Monthly revenue generated.

- Customer referrals obtained.

- Accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
