About Us : Thakker Polypack Inds. is a 45-year-old, third-generation family-owned company manufacturing PP laminated, LD liner, Paper HDPE, and BOPP bags. We build our business one relationship at a time — directly with manufacturer owners and purchase managers, not through marketplaces or intermediaries. Our long-term goal is 500 named manufacturer relationships by 2031, and this role is a key part of extending that reach into the Marathwada industrial belt.

Role OverviewWe're looking for an Area Sales Manager to own the Sambhajinagar territory — building and deepening direct relationships with manufacturers, purchase managers, and plant owners who need packaging solutions. This is not an order-taking role. You'll be expected to walk into factories, understand a client's operations, and build trust the way an owner would — because that's how we've grown for 45 years.

• Key Responsibilities: Identify and build relationships with manufacturers in Sambhajinagar MIDC & Other Nearby (200 km Range) and the surrounding industrial cluster (steel, agri-processing, seed, chemical, and related sectors)
• Conduct in-person visits to prospective and existing clients, understanding their packaging needs and matching them to the right product (PP laminated, LD liner, Paper HDPE, BOPP)
• Thakker Polypack's every relationship is built with the intent to last
• Maintain consistent, accurate records of visits, conversations, and account status in the company's tracking system
• Convert free-sample outreach into trial orders and trial orders into repeat, expanding relationships
• Provide regular field feedback on market conditions, competitor activity, and client needs to the COO
• Represent the company at local industry events, trade gatherings, or association meetings where relevant
• What We're Looking For: 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in packaging, industrial supplies, or manufacturing-adjacent sectors
• Existing familiarity with or contacts in the Jalna / Marathwada industrial belt strongly preferred
• Comfort with relationship-first, face-to-face selling — not reliant on inbound leads or online portals
• Basic technical aptitude to learn and explain packaging use-cases across industries
• Willingness to travel locally within the territory daily
• Own two-wheeler or vehicle preferred
• Discipline to maintain visit logs and CRM records consistently
• Fixed salary: ₹17,500–20,000/month (commensurate with experience)
• Incentive: Performance-linked, tied to relationship growth and repeat business — not volume alone
• Travel allowance: Reimbursed based on logged visits

• What Success Looks Like: Active, well-documented relationships with a majority of qualified manufacturers in the Marathwada cluster within the first 6 months
• A track record of converting free-sample outreach into trial and repeat orders
• Visit and reporting discipline that gives leadership clear visibility into territory progress
• Client relationships built on trust, not just transactions — the kind that last for years, not one order
