Field Service Engineer

hands-on technical support, installation, maintenance, and repair of medical devices and diagnostic machinery at customer locations such as hospitals, diagnostic labs, clinics, and research facilities. Key Responsibilities

1. Installation and Setup

 * Unpack, assemble, and set up medical devices (e.g., MRI/CT scanners, X-ray units, ventilators, surgical equipment, or lab analyzers) at customer sites.

 * Perform initial calibration, safety testing, and configuration according to manufacturer specs and hospital guidelines.

2. Preventative Maintenance (PM)

 * Conduct scheduled, routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment breakdowns.

 * Perform electrical safety tests, software updates, and mechanical alignments to keep devices compliant with regulatory standards.

3. Emergency Repairs and Troubleshooting

 * Respond promptly to service calls or breakdown requests from healthcare facilities.

 * Diagnose complex electro-mechanical, optical, hydraulic, or software issues using diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes) and technical schematics.

 * Replace faulty boards, sensors, motors, or components to restore machinery to working order.
