Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, soldering, inspecting, and repairing electronic components and printed circuit boards (PCBs). The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in electronic manufacturing.

• Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & AssemblyPerform precision hand-soldering of Through-Hole (THT) and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components on PCBs.
• Assemble electronic products, wiring harnesses, connectors, and cables as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Operate soldering irons, hot air rework stations, de-soldering tools, and related assembly equipment.
• Ensure proper placement, orientation, and installation of electronic components.
• Inspection & Quality ControlInspect solder joints and assemblies using magnification tools and microscopes.
• Identify and correct defects such as cold joints, solder bridges, insufficient solder, and component damage.
• Perform PCB rework, component replacement, and repair activities when required.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Testing & MaintenanceUse multimeters, continuity testers, and other testing equipment to verify electrical connections and functionality.
• Maintain soldering tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Required SkillsExperience in SMT and Through-Hole soldering.
• Knowledge of electronic components and PCB assembly processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
• Good manual dexterity and steady hand coordination.
• Familiarity with leaded and lead-free soldering techniques.
• QualificationsITI, Diploma, or Technical Certification in Electronics or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in soldering, PCB assembly, or electronics manufacturing.
• IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification will be an added advantage.
