Site Supervisor

1. Site Visit & Survey

• Visit project sites to inspect installation locations.
• Take accurate site measurements and verify drawings.
• Check wall surfaces, foundations, mounting points, and site conditions.
• Identify site-related issues and report them to the Project Manager.

2. Installation & Execution

• Supervise installation of signboards, safety signs, gantry signs, pole signs, ACP signage, LED signage, and other signage products.
• Ensure installation is completed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Check alignment, height, level, fixing, and finishing quality.
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and installation materials.

3. Manpower Management

• Allocate daily work to installers, helpers, fabricators, and technicians.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and work progress.
• Ensure the team follows site instructions and completes work within the scheduled time.

4. Material Management

• Verify materials received at the site against the delivery challan.
• Check quantities and material condition before installation.
• Maintain records of materials used, damaged, returned, or pending.
• Coordinate with the store, purchase, and transport teams for material requirements.

5. Safety Management

• Ensure workers use helmets, safety shoes, safety belts, reflective jackets, and other required PPE.
• Follow work-at-height and electrical safety procedures.
• Arrange barricading and warning signs during installation.
• For road signage work, coordinate traffic management and follow approved traffic-control procedures.
• Stop unsafe work and report hazards immediately.

6. Quality Control

• Inspect the installation and finishing of signage.
• Check bolt tightening, structural stability, electrical connections, and illumination where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings and applicable project specifications.
• Rectify defects before handing over the work.

7. Project Coordination

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and project managers.
• Report site progress, delays, material shortages, and technical issues.
• Obtain site approvals and completion confirmation where required.
• Ensure work is completed within the agreed timeline.

8. Daily Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily site progress reports with photographs.
• Maintain labour attendance and material consumption records.
• Record site measurements, completed work, pending work, and additional requirements.
• Submit installation completion reports and handover documents.
