• Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, references, and market visits.
• Identify potential customers and develop new leads in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the technical team for suitable solutions.
• Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and commercial offers with customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and business development goals.
• Maintain proper records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, and sales follow-ups.
• Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Service, Production, and Accounts teams for smooth order execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates to the Sales Manager/Management.
• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial sales, engineering products, automation, machinery, or B2B sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Good customer relationship and follow-up skills.
• Ability to understand technical products and explain solutions to customers.
• Target-oriented and proactive approach.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel and CRM or sales reporting tools.
• Preferred CandidateExperience in Industrial Automation / Material Handling / Machinery / Engineering Products will be an advantage.
• Candidates with an existing industrial customer network will be preferred.
• Strong local and regional market knowledge will be an added advantage.
