Job Description
- Site InspectionConduct a detailed inspection of the site before work begins.
- Verify dimensions, levels, and installation locations as per approved drawings.
- Identify and report any site constraints or safety hazards.
- Work PlanningCoordinate daily work activities with the project manager and client representative.
- Ensure manpower, machinery, tools, and materials are available before starting work.
- Plan work to minimize traffic disruption.
- Material VerificationCheck that all road safety products delivered to the site meet the approved specifications.
- Verify quantities, quality, and condition of materials before installation.
- Maintain records of material receipt and usage.
- Installation SupervisionSupervise the installation of road safety products according to approved drawings, project specifications, and relevant standards.
- Ensure proper alignment, spacing, dimensions, and workmanship during installation.
- Monitor the use of appropriate installation equipment and techniques.
- Quality ControlConduct regular quality inspections during and after installation.
- Verify compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Rectify or report any non-conforming work.
- Safety ManagementEnsure all personnel use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Implement traffic management measures, including barricades, warning signs, cones, and flagmen where required.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
- Report accidents, incidents, and near misses immediately.
- DocumentationMaintain daily site progress reports.
- Record manpower, equipment, weather conditions, and completed work.
- Prepare measurement sheets and maintain photographic records before, during, and after installation.
- Client CoordinationCoordinate with the client, consultant, contractor, and local authorities as required.
- Attend site meetings and communicate progress and issues.
- Obtain approvals for completed work.
- Equipment ManagementEnsure all installation equipment is in good working condition.
- Coordinate maintenance and calibration where required.
- Monitor proper use of company tools and machinery.
- Project CompletionConduct final inspections.
- Prepare punch lists and ensure all corrective actions are completed.
- Assist in project handover and submission of completion documentation.
