Production Planing Control

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements and production capacity.

Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch departments to ensure smooth workflow.

Monitor production progress against planned targets and take necessary follow-up actions.

Prepare and maintain production schedules, work orders, and PPC reports.

Ensure availability of raw materials, components, manpower, machines, and tools as per the production plan.

Monitor WIP (Work in Progress) and finished goods status.

Identify production delays, bottlenecks, and material shortages and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.

Maintain production planning records and prepare MIS reports for management.

Coordinate with the shop floor to ensure production priorities are followed as per the plan.

Support inventory control and material planning to avoid shortages and excess inventory.

Read and understand engineering/manufacturing drawings and production specifications.

Should have good knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and be able to understand dimensions, tolerances and drawing requirements. Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams to ensure components are manufactured as per drawing and customer requirements.

Follow up on rework, rejection, and corrective actions affecting production schedules.

Contribute to improving production efficiency, delivery performance, and resource utilization.
